Therefore, when dust and filth gets into the area between both glass sheets, the reaction is bound to weaken the coating and make the windshield increasingly vulnerable to cracks.
3. Encountering bumps while driving: While it is unlikely that a small fissure on your windshield would begin to degenerate over time, there are certain occurrences that will make sure of that. One of such occurrences is encountering road bumps while driving. Any activity that exerts pressure on the car could cause a tiny fissure to get worse. When you drive on a deplorable road with plenty of bumps, the banging sound that is created by the bumps on the road will cause a small fissure to widen. In similar fashion, your slamming car doors and any other activity that puts pressure on your car will contribute to the widening of your windshield.
4. Harsh weather: Harsh weather or sever atmospheric conditions could have a devastating impact on your windshield when there is a fissure. It is a known fact that harsh weather compromises windshield. While harsh weather is unlikely to have any profound effect on your windshield when it is intact, you can be sure that harsh weather could exacerbate fissures on your windshield. This is particularly true when the weather on the outside and inside are extreme opposite. One of the most effect ways to prevent more damage is to engage in windshield repair before the situation becomes terrible.
5. Solar heat: The temperature created by the sun can have a profoundly negative effect on the fissure on your windshield. The heat is known to exacerbate fissures and make small scratches bigger. You can bring your family to view The International Sculpture Collection that is funded by the generous businessman Dan Lawrie, which is located in Hendrie Park. New sculptures from around the world are added yearly, so you will always find something new every time you visit. The actual gardens are spread over a generous 250 acres of land and feature 5 unique areas that visitors can peruse.

The gardens host a large selection of plants that encompass their living collection, and the Horticulture Department takes special care to build beautiful displays that submit the various plants and flowers while also bringing important issues to light such as climate change, suitability, and current landscaping trends. In keeping with these ideas, the gardens make sure that all displays have a minimal impact on the natural surroundings.

The gardens also feature a range of trails for visitors to explore. There are many varieties of local and exotic wildlife that can be seen, and you and your family can even see bald eagles set up a nest in the park. Woodpeckers are also a common sight and its always a delight to see them flying about to and fro during the mating seasons. Today we're investigating the best ways to stop your car windows from fogging up and reducing your ability to see the road. As pointed out on Reddit Hamilton and written about on the Hamilton Spectator website, Tesla recent filmed a commercial on a highway in the Hammer for its Model S vehicle

The commercial, "Revolutionize your Commute", shows the white luxury liftback cruising on Highway 403 in downtown Hamilton between the York Boulevard and Main Street West off-ramps. It passes several local landmarks, including the Hamilton Spectator.

The backdrop on Highway 403 in Hamilton is very nice, which is likely why Tesla decided to film here, along with there being more reasonable traffic than there would have been closer to Toronto. 

There is a Tesla charging station in Hamilton at McMaster Innovation park, but the nearest dealership is in Toronto right beside Pearson International Airport (one of three GTA Tesla dealerships), so that is likely where the car came from.

It looks like the commercial may have been filmed very recently as the weather and scenery match what we have currently in Hamilton -  there’s no leaves on the trees and also no snow on the ground. Of course, to be fair, it could have also been filmed last fall or a year ago around the same time. 

The stretch of highway road is very curvy, allowing the film makers to show off the handling of the vehicle, which is a key theme of the commercial. Specifically, the video advertises that the Tesla S will “revolutionize  your commute” because it: 
•    increases safety & convenience
•    navigates the curves of the road
•     follows the flow of traffic
•    changes lanes with a single tap
•    and parks on your command

This all sounds great. The only hurdle we see is the $101,900 - $146,000 Canadian price tag (depending on the battery you choose). That much for a battery, you say? Yes, in case you’ve been living under a rock, Tesla’s are all electric cars that need to be charged. 

Fortunately, each new version is providing more KM’s per charge, with the latest Tesla S having a 460 km range. That’s about the distance from Toronto to Ottawa, in case you were wondering. Not quite enough if you’re travelling from the Hammer to Canada’s Capital, but there are charging stations along the way.
